==About this Website==
This site is a variation on a project I've been thinking about for years, which I used to call the [[Mental Toolkit]]. The Mental Toolkit would be a collection of [[Conceptual Scheme]]s which, by accurately reflecting how the world works, helps the person to untake individual and collective projects.

The problem is that, as soon as I start investigating any particular [[Conceptual Scheme]], I find myself drowning in a vast sea of specialized knowledge. Meanwhile I discover that my own personal [[Real Life]] is disintegrating because I am spending too much time on the computer. But just as I started making [http://sluserguide.com Danton's Second Life User Guide] in order to increase my own knowledge of [[Second Life]], my basic reason for making this present site is to increase my own knowledge of [[Real Life]].
