==About this Website==
This site is a variation on a project I've been thinking about for years, which I refer to as the [[mental toolkit]]. The mental toolkit is a collection of [[conceptual scheme]]s which, by reflecting how the world works, help the person untake individual and collective projects. If the person's mental schemes accurately reflect how the world in fact works, their projects are more likely to succeed.

As soon as we start investigating any particular [[conceptual scheme]], we come across a vast sea of existing specialized knowledge. 

Just as I started making [http://sluserguide.com Danton's Second Life User Guide] in order to increase my own knowledge of [[Second Life]], one basic reason for making this present site is to increase my own knowledge of [[Real Life]].

This website is a work in progress. For the moment there is only one Category, called [[Category:Life]], which contains only a handful of page.

You may discover pages on this website left over from when it was used for other things. In fact, I've used this [[MediaWiki]] site for a series of different projects, each of which replaced that preceding.
