I started transfering some files onto this website from another of my MediaWiki sites. I used the XML Dump process to export from the other site the pages about the MediaWiki software package, which I then uploaded here.

Now I'm going to work on setting up some Second Life Tutorial pages.

==30 August 2008==
This is the blog page for September, but there are only two days left in August, so I'm starting the September page early.

Today I converted this site, which was originally supposed to be a wiki on another subject, into *Danton's How-To Warehouse Website*. This solves several problems at once, such as:

*This site replaces the Toolshouse website I was trying to construct using Joomla, a software package which is new to me, and which will take me time to learn to use
*I can centralize here all of the software how-to pages I had already created on another website
*I can use this site to centralize information on Second Life building and scripting, as I learn these skills

The spirit of this site is that I gather information and record experiences primarily for me own future use. The site at the same time serves as an example of the Toolshouse approach, which is a central element in Danton's strategy for the development of convivial tools.
