This site is a variation on a project I've been thinking about for years. I used to call this project the [[Mental Toolkit]]. The Mental Toolkit would be a collection of [[Conceptual Scheme]]s which, by accurately reflecting how the world works, could help us to pilot our individual and collective projects.

The difficulty is that, as soon as I start investigating any particular [[Conceptual Scheme]], I find myself drowning in a vast sea of specialized technical knowledge. Meanwhile I realized that my own personal [[Real Life]] is disintegrating due to my spending all of my available time stuck in front of the computer.
